Casa Grande is a spacious two-story vacation home for up to four adults. It has two separate bedrooms, each with air conditioning and its own en-suite bathroom. The large open-plan private kitchen and living area is not air-conditioned. Outside, guests can enjoy a large covered ground-floor terrace and a smaller first-floor terrace, surrounded by the tropical garden. The pool is shared with registered guests staying in the five Casas Bonita vacation homes.

Rates vary by season and length of stay. Monthly rates are available for selected dates. Please check availability for current rates.

 FAQs

  • The minimum stay is 5 nights. Longer minimum stays may apply for selected dates. Monthly rates and special arrangements are available for long-term guests and digital nomads. Please contact us for availability.

  • Yes. Wi-Fi is available in all five vacation homes and common areas. Guests regularly use it for remote work, video calls and streaming. As with internet services in Costa Rica, occasional local provider outages may occur.

  • We do not organize tours directly. After your reservation at Casas Bonita has been confirmed, we can share contact details for trusted local tour operators and guides. Tours are arranged and paid for directly with the respective provider. Please note that we are unable to provide individual itinerary planning before a reservation is confirmed.

  • No. Electricity used for air conditioning is metered separately and charged according to consumption. The cost depends entirely on individual use, including the selected temperature, daily operating time and whether doors and windows remain closed. For this reason, we cannot provide an estimated cost in advance. The meter is read at check-in and again at check-out, and only the actual consumption is charged.

  • Yes. Four free on-site parking spaces are shared among the five vacation homes and are subject to availability. Please let us know in advance if you will be arriving by car. If all on-site spaces are occupied, additional street parking may be available directly outside the property.

  • Yes. A shared washing machine is available on-site for an additional fee per load. The current fee and payment instructions are displayed next to the washing machine. Laundry may be included in certain long-term arrangements only when this is expressly stated in the booking offer. Independent wash-and-fold laundry services are also available in Sámara.

  • No. Casas Bonita is an adults-only property. All guests must be at least 18 years old at the time of check-in.

  • Casas Bonita is approximately 800 metres, or about a 10-minute walk, from Playa Sámara. The town centre is approximately a 5- to 7-minute walk away. Grocery stores, a French bakery, cafés and restaurants are nearby, so a car is not necessary for everyday activities.

  • For stays of 7 nights or longer, we provide weekly light cleaning, including fresh bed linen and towels, as well as cleaning of the bathroom and floors.

  • We offer attractive monthly rates for selected dates and vacation homes, particularly during the low season. Rates depend on the chosen home, travel dates and length of stay. Please send us your exact dates and number of guests, and we will be happy to provide an individual offer.

  • Sámara is generally considered a safe and relaxed beach town. As everywhere, we recommend taking normal precautions at night.

  • Casas Bonita offers self check-in. Detailed arrival instructions and the necessary access codes are sent directly to confirmed guests shortly before check-in.

  • Yes, a safe is available in your accommodation so you can securely store your valuables.
